Founded in 1976 by Mr. André Paluku Kavula, RECODI Interports is one of the historical transit companies in the Democratic Republic of Congo, owned by the Kavula family for three generations.
Our story
The Kavula family originates from the Beni territory in North Kivu. Originally created to support customs and port operations, the company has progressively expanded its activities to include multimodal transport, consignment, and integrated logistics.
Over the years, RECODI has strengthened its presence at the country’s main entry points and developed recognized expertise in managing complex logistics flows, for both general goods and strategic products.
Today, RECODI Interports operates on international and national port platforms, ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout the territory of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
